Martha Kohl is a Historical Specialist at the Montana Historical Society where, among other

duties, she creates curriculum and oversees the Montana: Stories of the Land textbook, online

teachers guide, and companion website. She is the author of the book I DO: A CULTURAL

HISTORY OF MONTANA WEDDINGS (Montana Historical Society Press, 2011).
