He lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania with his wife, Debbie. They raised three children who were homeschooled and though they live in various parts of the US, Mark finds that he is more involved in his children’s lives than ever before.

Steve is a founding member of the Montana Coalition of Home Educators (MCHE) presently serving as their Legislative Liaison. He is also the publisher of the annual Montana Guide to Home Education. Prior to the 2003 Legislative Session, Steve created www.badbills.com - a website devoted to helping Montana citizens understand the legislative process, as well as inspire them to become more involved. As a homeschooling community, we need to be educated on the laws as well as understand why our freedoms are worth fighting for. Steve and his wife Pam live outside Bozeman on the family ranch.
